What we aim for
We want sellertales.com to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard only, a screen reader, or enlarged text, and people who prefer reduced motion or a dark color scheme. The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Where we stand today
The site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Parts known to be in place:
- Semantic structure: one H1 per page, no skipped heading levels, landmarks, and a skip link to the main content.
- Keyboard access everywhere: visible focus indicators, no focus traps, and a consent banner that does not grab focus on load.
- Forms with always-visible labels, named required fields, and error messages tied to their fields.
- Color contrast checked mechanically for every text/background token pair (all meet at least 4.5:1), with meaning never carried by color alone.
- Touch targets of at least 44px, layouts that work from a 320px-wide viewport, and respect for the "reduce motion" preference.
- A light and a dark theme, both designed, switchable without losing your place.
- Horizontally scrollable tables that are keyboard-scrollable and labeled for assistive technology.
Known limitations
- Forms are not connected yet. Contact, subscribe, and waitlist forms are published with disabled submit buttons and a visible "coming online soon" notice until a form provider is in place; each offers an email fallback in the meantime.
- Product screenshots are placeholders. Where real screenshots are not yet available, labeled placeholder frames with text descriptions stand in.
- External destinations are out of scope. Linked platforms (Shopify App Store, Chrome Web Store, X) follow their own accessibility practices.
